This shabti originally had no specific provenance beyond 'Egypt'. Glenn Janes tentatively suggests it may come from Abydos, North Cemeteries; Cemetery G. The Place field has been amended accordingly and a separate entry was added to the Production field.

This shabti was originally catalogued as simply from the Ptolemaic Period. Glenn Janes examined this shabti in May 2018. He dates it to Early Ptolemaic Period and the Period field has been updated accordingly.
