This shabti was originally catalogued as from the 'Third Intermediate; New Kingdom; XX-XXII; ?XX; ?XXII'. Glenn Janes examined this shabti in May 2018. He dates it to Third Intermediate, 22nd Dynasty and the Period field has been updated accordingly.

This shabti originally had no specific provenance beyond 'Egypt'. Based on parallels in other museums, Glenn Janes identified it as from the Ramesseum, Western Thebes, which has been added to the Place field.
