Context (Analysis)
On Tuesday 14th November 2017 Dr Kate Spence analysed this seal and noted that it was from a stamp that would have been used in the Valley of the Kings, known as a Necropolis stamp. This would have been specific to the area. It is currently unclear from which cache at the Valley this seal impression came.

Context (Amendments / updates)
Due to Dr Kate Spence's analysis (see Context - Analysis) and identifying that this impression would have been made from a stamp specific to the area of the Valley of the Kings, the place name of ?Thebes; ?Valley of the Kings has been tentatively added to the Place field.
