Glenn Janes has identified parallels in the following collections: Alexandria, Basel, Berlin, Birmingham, Cairo, Copenhagen, Cortona, Leiden, London (BM & UC), Oslo, Paris, Roanne, Rome, St. Gallen and Tubingen. Coffins are in the Cairo Museum together with a funerary papyrus.

This shabti originally had no specific provenance beyond 'Egypt'. Based on parallels in other museums, Glenn Janes identified it as from From Western Thebes, Deir el-Bahari (Cache II) which has been added to the Place field.

This shabti was originally catalogued as 'Third Intermediate; New Kingdom; XX-XXI; ?XX; ?XXI'. Glenn Janes examined this shabti in May 2018. He dates it to Third Intermediate Period, 21st Dynasty and the Period field has been updated accordingly.
