Context (Analysis)
This mask previously had no Period information. Anita Kriener, PhD candidate at the Free University of Berlin, examined a photograph of the object and noted that the 'high wigs' very often occur in the Third Intermediate Period. Although 'they can also be found in the Late Period, but in combination with the small and heart-shaped face, I just think it is more likely that it dates to the TIP'. This Period field has been updated accordingly.
