Description

Unopened redware jar containing mummified ibis. Cylindrical body, with parallel grooves, tapering to a narrow, convex base. Circular lid,recessed at the edge, then rising towards a roughly circular knob, chipped around the edges. The lid is cemented into place by whitish mortar.
