Context (Other owners)
The Source field previously stated 'Mackintosh.Mrs.L'. It is unclear who 'Mrs. L. Mackintosh' was. The object was part of the collection of Mr Leslie Mackintosh and given to the Museum by his sister, Miss Ruth Mackintosh, see the Related documents regarding collector and donor. It is likely that there was some miscommunication of titles and initials between *Mr* L. Mackintosh and his sister Miss R. Mackintosh. THe Accession Register actually notes the objects were gifted by 'Miss J. Mackintosh'. At present therefore 'Mackintosh.Mrs.L' has been removed at present. If they are identified, update this record accordingly.
