Context (Analysis)
This item was examined in 2002 by Kristin Thompson of The Amarna Project, who made the following observations: 'No sandal. Last two toes are preserved, with parts of the others. The edge of the base is beveled.' She goes on to note that it is 'about one third to one half life-size.'
