Context (Amendments / updates)
It is unclear why it is thought the label 31.1112 B is wrong. The loop found with this label is not broken - unlike the description assigned to 1929.169 E in this record. In addition, the original catalogue card and accession register entry only states that 1929.169 A-D are four faience daisies, neither references a bronze, broken loop. The catalogue card for 1913.1112 A-B states B is a bronze ring loop with the excavation number 28-9/335. This matches the excavation number on the supposed incorrect label affixed to the loop. Therefore it is suggested that the object in question is 1931.1112 B and this record is for a broken loop as yet found or to be questioned if it exists.
