Description
Very large, bound leather scrapbook containing:
(1) A series of prints of line drawings, illustrations for 'pilgrim's progress' .
(2) Coloured print of Roman tesselated pavement, discovered in High Cross St., Leicester c.1675.
(3) Number of large watercolours of rings-no inscriptions or dates.
(4) Watercolours mounted on board of pottery and bronze implements. Dimensions, dates and sites given. Some labelled 'R.C. Neville, drawn by J. Youngman' . (Braybrooke Collection)
(5) French print of mosaic discovered near Lyons.
(6) Map of the Fens, pub. Amsterdam 1632. Scale 1" =22/3m.
Possibly owned by R.C. Neville. Fen map missing, a note indicates it may have been taken to Cambridge Archaeological Unit (25/7/1996).
