Large scrapbook with R.C.Neville's bookplate in front cover.
Contains prints, plans, watercolours and drawings of articles and sites of archaeological interest throughout the country (including Burgh Castle, Suffolk; Great Chesterford, Essex; Icleton; Little Wilbraham, etc) . Periods date from Iron Age, Roman, Anglo-Saxo, and Medieval.
The artefacts include brooches, buckles and other metal items, buckets, beads, combs, pottery, swords, spears, shield bosses, etc.
Also includes a map of Cambridge by Eman Bowen dedicated to Henry Clinton, Earl of Lincoln, Lord Lieutenant and Custos Rotulorum for Camb.
