Description

A four-page report on the topographic findings of the 1947 Dew Line Survey, sponsored by the Council of the Arctic Institute of North America. The expedition visited Southampton Island, Chesterfield, Repulse Base, Pelly Bay, Simpson Peninsula, Baker Lake, Committee Bay.
The majority of the document deals with geographical discoveries, with only the penultimate noting that every opportunity was made to observe the "anthropology and social psychology of the Eskimo", but does not elaborate on what they observed.
There is a handwritten note at the top which says this document was "found in Paterson file, 1948", but the document itself is unsigned.
