Context (Amendments / updates)
A postcard was discovered in the correspondence files dated 13/08/1912 from Ernest Mackay noting additional objects 'to the stuff chosen by you'. Whilst it does not note Tarkhan as being the site from which these objects were chosen, the postcard dates to only 13 days prior to the other two which formed part of AR7/1/1 and note the posting of material from this site. It has been thought that this post card from 13th August should be filed with other archived postcards from Tarkhan. If discovered it be in relation to another site rehouse and amend record.

With letters and postcards from E. Mackay, Aug. 1912, to the curator, CUMAE, re: finds from the above digs sent to CUMAE, includes list of objects sent.
