Papers related to the exhibition 'Crafting Culture: Pattamadai Mats from South India' curated by Soumhya Venkatesan with Anita Herle, (MAA March-November 2002). The exhibition was based on material collected by Venkatesan during her doctoral field research in Social Anthropology, with the support of the Crowther Beynon fund.
