Description

Papers related to the exhibition ‘n01se’ a set of connected exhibitions in art & science, which showcases and questions the digital, re-claiming it antecedents. ‘No1se’ was co-curated by artist Adam Lowe and Cambridge historian of science Simon Schaffer with curators from several host museums and galleries, including Kettles Yard, the Whipple, MAA, and Fitzwilliam in Cambridge and the Welcome Trust in London. MAA’s contribution ‘Earth and Sky’ led by Anita Herle included in ‘Dots in the Desert’ (with Su Dalgleish), Tom Van Sant’s maps of the earth from space, ‘Material Simulation’ with Robin Boast’ , ‘Synchronia’ by Paul Miller aka D.J. Spooky and Adam Lowe's 'cultured grey cells'.
The papers include: the catalogue, brochure and poster.
