Group of heelball rubbings of sacred boards [churinga/jurunga/ tjuringa], some with ink annotations by Colonel Frederick James Hayter, Honorary Keeper of the Australian (and later Fijian) collections 1928-1946. Consists of 44 pieces of paper, most with multiple rubbings and annotations, potentially descriptions and origins
Accompanied by 2 lists but it is not known which list gives the contents as the rubbings and their accession numbers have not been physically cross-checked due to cultural sensitivities.: #1'Churinga rubbings arranged in chronological order' (with a pencil annotated duplicate version).

The lists have been adapted to follow format of MAA accession numbers. No details are given on the date of the pencil annotations, but it is presumably a tick list of what was present at an unknown date
