Description (Physical description)
Documents relating to Kathleen Nawoyski's time in Belize (1950-1952) when she collected a stone axe [2025.3] and foot of a Maya sculpture [T 2024.1]. They include:
1) Scan of handwritten reminiscences by Nawoyski about her time in Belize and the discovery of the two objects.
2) Monthly Bulletin of British Honduras, dated September 1950, which includes reference to Roman Nawoyski work at the Department of Public Works, in Spanish.
3) Pamphlet entitled 'Report on British Honduras' and dated 1949.
4) 'British Honduras: Physical and Political Maps' issued by the Education Department, Belize.
5) Booklet entitled 'Brief Sketch of British Honduras', revised by A.H. Anderson, 1948, printed by the Government Printer.
6) Two folded maps of Belize [British Honduras]
