Exhibition “Church and the Ancestors” Sacred pir I mats from Asmat, Papua, Indonesia” based on the Crowther Beynon collection made by Tom Powell Davis during doctoral field research in the Andrews Gallery (Dec 2020 - March 2021 extended to January 2022). Curated by Powell Davis with Sophie Hopmeier and Anita Herle. Includes exhibition brochure (designed by Deborah Wickham), proposal, background to the collection and web page. Note: exhibition scaled back due to Covid restrictions, films accessible via MAA’s website.
