Documents relating to photographs in the Poignant collection.
1. Two copies with manuscript annotation of a page from Binney, Judith 1990. An Illustrated History of N.Z. 1820-1920 p.230.
2. A 2006 exhibition catalogue for Fiona Foley's 'Strange Fruit'.
3. A possibly faxed? certificate of authenticity for a photographic print 'Signpost 1' by Fiona Foley, dated 22nd December 2008.
4. An eighteen page printed catalogue from Peter Moore Bookseller, Cambridge of books titled 'Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People.' This was included with a copy of the Poignants' book Bush Walkabout (1957) which was ordered as part of the Poignant Project and includes books and inscriptions from the library of Roslyn and Axel Poignant.
5. A four page printed copy of an article: Poignant, Roslyn. 2011. Axel Poignant, photographer. The Formative Years 1929-1942. The Cross Arts Project, Sydney.
6. A nine page printed copy of an article: Poignant, Roslyn. 1991. 'The Photographic Witness?' The Australian Journal of Media and Culture vol. 6 no. 2.
7. Manuscript and typed notes on two piece of paper relating to carvings purchased by the Poignants from a district co-operative in Pagwi, Sepik District, Papua New Guinea. One is written on paper with the heading 'Gaui Local Government Council Pagwi' and dated 25/09/1969. The other is typed on paper with the heading 'Axel Poignant' and dated November 1980. These carvings are probably in the care of MAA.
