Correspondence, notes, and drafts relating to Roslyn and Axel Poignant's trip to Fiji, 1969.

1. One copy of an article from Bishop Museum Bulletin 62 relating to the Lau Islands.

2. Three maps of Fiji.

3. One airmail letter manuscript (stamped with Fiji postmark) from Roslyn and Axel Poignant at Auckland GPO to Mr and Mrs A. Carlbom, England, dated Monday April 4th 1969, Suva, Fiji. Relating to the Poignants' trips to Fiji and Aotearoa New Zealand. Found in plastic sleeve with adhered label reading 'scanned'.

4. A three page typed letter from Roslyn Poignant to Carolyn and Peter dated 9th April 1969, with reflections on their visit to Fiji and Raiatea. Found in plastic sleeve with adhered label reading 'scanned'.

5. One page typed draft letter with manuscript annotations from Axel Poignant to Ratu Sir Kamisese Mara, Chief Minister, Fiji, proposing a photographic project to document. Found in plastic sleeve with adhered label reading 'scanned'.

6. One page typed letter from Axel and Roslyn Poignant in Fiji to Ed and Camille Dodd dated March 18, 1969. Relating to financial accounts from the Poignants' trip to Raiatea.

7. One page of manuscript notes relating to flight times and a postponed visit to Tonga due to illness. Found together with number 6. in a plastic sleeve with an adhered label reading 'scanned'.

8. One page of typescript notes titled 'Notes from Hunts tours about Delta village tour Nakamakama' together with a leaflet advertising 'Nakamakama Village Tours' by Hunts Travel Services.

9. One page typed catalogue list relating to some of Axel Poignant's photographs from Fiji. Found in plastic sleeve with an adhered label reading 'scanned'.

10. Seven pages of typed notes with manuscript annotations relating to irrigation and rice growing in the Rewa River delta. Found in two plastic sleeves with an adhered label reading 'scanned'.

11. Three page typescript draft paper with manuscript annotations titled 'Rice production by flood irrigation'. Found in plastic sleeve with adhered label reading 'scanned'.

12. Two pages of typed captions relating to objects from the Fiji Museum photographed by Axel Poignant. Found in plastic sleeve with adhered label reading 'scanned'.

13. Three pages of mixed printed and manuscript notes relating to making oil from plants in Fiji, with reference to a woman named Lili.

14. Two pages of manuscript fieldnotes from Fiji by Roslyn Poignant dated Thursday 8th to Monday 14th April 1969. Found in a plastic sleeve with adhered label reading 'scanned'.

15. Copy of a one page article by 'Atu Emberson-Bain from the New Internationalist, June 1997 relating to fishing in the Pacific. Found in plastic sleeve with adhered label reading 'scanned'.

16. Three pages of manuscript notes about members of families in Fiji, with the headings Tongatabu, Kava Liku Nuku'alofa, and Taumoefolau.
