Cambridgeshire Archaeological Committee files. Files held in a large folio box with leather spine reading 'Ordnance Survey. Shropshire' in gold lettering, A more recent label reading 'Cambridgeshire Archaeological Committee Volume 2'. Files span 1972- 1982 and include: Field Officer reports on: Godmanchester, Cottenham, Shingay cum Wendy, Horningsea, Shelford, Wilbraham, Soham, Hinchingbrooke, the construction of Lion Yard in Cambridge, Castle Hill in Cambridge, and the Welland Valley Project. General administration files, including: meeting notes and minutes, employment papers, financial reports and budgets. Field reports on: fieldwork, surveying local ancient sites and monuments, and the scheduling of monuments. This folio was found in the office of Dr. Robin Boast, Curator for World Archaeology, and roughly organised by Grahame Appleby, Cambridge Archaeological Unit, August 2006
