Photocopy of letter from Maureen O'Reilly to Isaac Henry Burkill, date 18 January 1945, regarding the donation of Abor artefacts and photographs. The artefacts correspond to idno 1949.431-436.
The letter was found by Graham Roberts in a book, 'In Arbor Jungles, being an account of the Arbor Expedition, the Mishmi Mission and the Miri Mission' by Agnus (Angus ?) Hamiliton. The book was owned by Ethel Burkill. An e-mail from Mr Roberts to Anne Taylor, Curatorial Assistant for Archaeology, enclosing the photocopied letter is included here.
