It is noted on the first page of BR6/1/7 that there are Teaching Boxes of M. Munn-Ranking in the Oriental Studies basement. These contained material from Iraq and Syria.
This is reference to Joan Margaret Munn-Rankin, known as Margaret Munn-Rankin, who, from 1949 until her death in 1981, was a Fellow of Newnham College and a lecturer in the Faculty of Oriental Studies. Therefore it is probable this archive was put together with this front page prior to 1981.
