Bowl made from a gourd. The bowl is decorated with intricately carved geometric and linear patterns, and has an orange linear design on the base that uses the gourds original outer surface. There is large crack that extends from the edge and through the centre that has been repaired.

Context (Amendments / updates)
1925.630 A is described on historic documentation as a bowl. However, it looks more like a lid; the stem would act as a handle, but prevents the object from sitting flat on its base, which limits its function as a bowl. It has very similar carved designs to this bowl, so it is possible that they are a lid and base that go together, rather than two separate bowls.
