Collected by Northcote W. Thomas in Edo State, Otwa, referred to by Thomas as Otua (now Otuo) town. The inhabitants belong to the Edo ethnic group, and also identify themselves further as Ghotuo people. The language they speak is also referred to as Ghotuo. See Blench, R. M., 1995. The Work of N.W. Description (Physical description)
Bottle stopper. Base of stopper undecorated. Two human heads with unusually long chins. Lips in whistling position. Bold staring eyes. One of the figures has a distinct hairstyle. Harness hole is positioned where the heads attach. O-shaped ears, raised in a circular manner.
