Large round basket with high slightly in-curving sides, plaited from thin strips of natural and black-dyed ?coconut leaf or pandanus leaf forming motifs of triangles and chevrons. Two lengths of 3-ply plaited coir (one natural and one dyed black) are attached to the inside of the rim. The end of the plait is marked by the presence of a large knot inside the basket in the centre. Round base.
