Dark coloured ?yaqona dish carved from a single piece of vesi wood. Pedestal base has two stepped legs and measures 15.5 cm wide. Four plaited lengths of coir (magimagi) are tied to one leg with two of the lengths twisted around the others towards the end. Top surface of dish has a noticeable lip with a slight muddy brown patina in the middle. A 4 cm crack runs from lip towards middle of dish; u-shaped chip missing from lip.
