Description (CMS Description)
Paddle club of dark wood, relatively light in weight, kinikini. The blade long and rounded at the top. A thick curved ridge connects the two sides of the paddle. An uncarved line divides the head in two longitudinally. The entire surface of the head is carved with tavatava patterns. The top of the head is decorated with two uncarved crescents. Two uncarved circles are placed above the ridge and another two below the ridge. The shaft is circular in section with a diamond-shaped pommel. Traces of varnish visible on the surface of the paddle. The edge of the head is damaged.
