Description
A circular bag made from red cotton, with black cotton along the top and yellow cords forming a drawstring closure. The interior is lined with multiple layers of white cotton forming internal pockets. The red cotton is decorated with white cotton appliqué flowers, and one white and black flower. There are tabs of blue cotton at the top corners.

Small bag of red cotton, with appliqued flowers in white and black. Used locally for keeping betel nut and leaves in, but now also sold to tourists. Made in the village of [word missing from catalogue card], which is famous for this work, and which is situated about [word missing] miles south of Bhubaneswar where the roads to Puri and Konarak divide.
