Labels & inscriptions: '61.154 A' inscribed in white ink on the body of the pot. A large rectangular cream label attached to the neck of the pot reads [handwritten in brown ink:] 'No. 1/5 October 1956. Buli Malolo at Lawaqa. Water container. YANUYA v. MALOLO T. N + N.' [added in blue pen:] '61.154 A'.

Catalogue card 1 reads [handwritten in black pen:] '61-154 A/E. Oceania. Fiji. Water pots (5). Sangga. Yanuya, Malolo, Nandronga & Novosa, Viti Levu. C by donor G. K. Roth.' [stamped in red ink:] 'CUMAA 14 SEPT 1987 TRANSCRIBED'. A small round red sticker pasted to the front of the card. At the back: 'A- with large open mouth. B- with spout for pouring and two sections of raised dots as decoration [a small round red sticker pasted near 'B']. C- with raised design in a ring on shoulder. D- made in shape of tambua [a small round red sticker pasted near 'D']. E- Oblong in shape with four bosses on the shoulder one hollow for pouring. These pots were brought from Yanuya by Buli Malolo to Lawangga.'
Catalogue card 2 is similar to one, without the red stickers and stamps.

Large water pot of glazed ceramic, globular in shape. A circular aperture at the top with a low-rising neck and a flaring rim. Rounded bottom. The shoulder is decorated with incisions forming plant leaves, paired at the stem around the neck (except for one which has three leaves together).
